To the web

Everything we used to do offline has now become webcentric. Remember the old days how your teacher made you keep a written journal. You were told to record daily events or write about what you feel. You probably used one of those black and white compositions books. Those days are over; yet it seems like yesterday we were writing them. well of course now we have the world wide web. Today, blogging has replaced the written journal. The effects are the same, but it's much easier and efficient to do journal/blog online. Thought the 'internet' has exisited since the '60's, the commercials side of the web is only a teenager. At this point, the web has evovled into a truly unique experience that we as the nascent users of it, probably have no idea where it's going to take us. One day, I'd imagine we'd speak to the web or some device that would respond with a voice and text letting us know what the results are and the engine would be able to discern the good from the bad. One day.. but today, it's type away, look until your eyes bulge out and sit on your rear gaining weight. The future is here, yet ther's always room for improvement. How many years away will we be able to speak to the net and have the net speak back to us?
