Pain go away
So I'm going throught the weekly Sunday ritual. You know, getting ready for work, taking out the trash, tidying up the house when suddenly I get this aching headache. It wasn't the normal type of pound-pound-pound headache. This was purely tension as both temples pulsed with slight pain. I didn't want to take any pain reliever just yet. I've been through this before and know the wonted signs of tension. Later, I hopped in the shower and took a mild spritz of hot/warm then rinsed with cold water. I'm out of the shower and prepping for bed. As I write this sentence, my tension has dropped so much that I can rest now. In fact, I really don't feel any pain. Yeah! The point of this entry is, we shouldn't be so quick to pop a pill when our body is trying to tell us to just find a method to relax. I find, for myself, that a hot, warm then cold shower relieves enough pain that pain to a point that a pain reliever isn't required.
